I'll say this once: If you like Hans so much, go to his board. He certainly wasn't going to mean a great deal to this board.
And that's what it boils down to. Yes, we do filter select posters from Opa-Ages, because we don't want this place turning into Opa-Ages. Before Corny gets on his high horse, or anyone for that matter, it's not that I think we're better than them, but it's not the environment I want to chat in nor is it the environment several of a core posters came over to chat in.
So when you've got an antagonistic administrator with thin skin whose best case scenario was posting sporadically to claim 9/11 was a conspiracy, bitch about how this place is inferior to his own forum and antagonize several posters - it was an easy decision. At best, he was going to be an antagonistic, worthless poster and at worst, he was going to be an antagonistic, detrimental poster.
Hans never registered to bless you guys with his presence to begin with. He registered to declare OA live and well, and that all the cool people could come back with him to the motherland. I don't think anyone can argue he was going to be a worthwhile addition to the community, but you all sure can bitch a lot that he isn't.
Also, Catalyst got in by accident. He was let in under a different alias, and by the time I was personally aware of who was was, he was already posting... within reason. Predictably, that stopped. Under the same circumstances, Hans would've probably gotten in.
