rock band 3 bombed to $20. even as a fan of music games, probably still won't pick up that shit.

i'm all over dj hero 2 though once it goes below $20.

I had Rock Band 3 for a bit and then it said "lol buy dlc songs again for piano sections"

gg no re, harmonix.  maybe if the piano interface was good and I was going to pay for one of super guitars, but no thank you.

...no...? I didn't edit anything, but I will admit to some poor typing being left in because I thought it looked cool.

And I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the "hey, kids, buy it again so you can get 'real' guitar fingerings" DLC model they implemented. I didn't know they did it with the keyboards as well. That IS lame.

Tell you what, Harmonix, if I pay for your game and I pay for your hundred-and-fifty dollar accessory, why don't you cut me some slack and see to it that the ADDITIONAL tunes I buy for it already work with it, m'kay?

Also Final Fight and ilomilo. I don't know if I should get the Trials HD DLC.

I bought the first DLC when it was on sale.  Need to grab the 2nd one of these days for my eventual Alan Wake playthrough.

both the Alan Wake DLCs are good

First one has the best action of Alan Wake while second one has more cool scenes and atmosphere(? I'm tired and can't think of the right word...mechanic screwery?).  Together they redeemed Alan Wake for me.

Buy $120 of game software get $60 gaming software coupon. On top of that, save $10 on $20 PSN/XBLA points card with purchase of Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat.

I know I'm getting an iphone sooner or later, or an ipad, so might as well get these games while they're cheap.

Hulu Plus promotion. One month for $1 and can be done multiple times.

I saw this yesterday and took advantage, but take note of the fine print:

Quote
After promotional month, your membership auto-renews to a monthly membership at the then-current price (subject to change), unless cancelled.

It resets your Live subscription to auto-renewal at the $9.99 month-to-month charge and there is NO WAY to turn off auto-renew on the website anymore.  You need to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and speak to a rep to have it turned off.

It had to have been recent because I just turned it off a month or so ago since my sub is finally getting close to expiring.  Now when you go to the Account page, it says: "To cancel your Xbox LIVE membership or to change your auto renewal status, please call Xbox Support."
