Watched the entire show. Fun show overall better than last year.
Some random things I noticed.
- That was a good joke about Call of Duty
- Hellblade II looked absolutely stunning, if that was really running on Series X
- The uwuuuu girl that dropped Bayonetta 3 half way now thinks she can sign a publisher with a 30 sec CG trailer, I appreciate the grift
- Nintendo Japan (Aonuma / Fujibayashi) and America (Doug Bowser) were sitting seperately, while all other publishers/developers were sitting together
- Less Korean/Chinese vaporware this time around
- Kojima now juggling two games (Death Stranding 2, OD) interesting to see how that plays out
- Bad business decisions on full display, not-Mass Effect and not-Starcraft announced by their original creators instead of the actual sequels they could've been
- Not a single new racing/sports game announced
- Probably the biggest gig Poets of the Fall have ever done, surprisingly enough actually live
- Nothing from Nintendo in terms of trailers, not even a B-roll
- Strangely enough they made new key artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- French indie dev woman talks about diversity, climate blah blah, was clearly surprised when Sony Corpo Man came to pick up the GAMES FOR IMPACT award
- Sam Lake was truely happy with all the awards and doing his silly Alan Wake dance
- Larian folks apart from the guy at the end were weird, I couldn't tell what they were talking about
- Lots of stuff I expected missing, maybe picked up by Nintendo, MS or Sony for future showcases or very short announcement to release windows next year?
- Strange new type of AAAA+ indie games, Who is funding stuff like Last Sentinel?
