Look, jailing a prisoner costs money. A lot of money. I don't remember the figure but it is stupid big, yo. Some criminals can not be helped/reformed until we have a better understanding of how to deconstruct sociopathic personalities. That's not very likely as personality disorders are by far the hardest things to treat, seeing as how its the foundation of someone's entire mental framework. I see no problem with putting someone like that down after repeat offenses of a violent nature.

Most Mexicans here that I know fully admit how fucked Mexico is right now. My coworkers family abandoned their home there because they were held hostage (Monterrey). My wife's coworkers bailed out of Brownsville because of violence spilling over. And even Mexican-Americans that visit now are becoming targets. That chick is in hardcore denial, at least about the Northern states of Mexico.

Well there is an obvious third scenario. Personally, I don't know anyone, no matter how religious, who wouldn't pursue any medical treatment. When you try to use that against them, they'll casually say: Well who do you think inspired the scientists with the answers? it's God's will mayne! lulz!
