I also think I have already met the love of my life, we were together for about 2 years (the longest relationship I have ever had). We were perfect together, neither wanted kids, similar lifestyle, took interest in each others hobbies (she even posted on my neogaf account from time to time lol) One critical difference though was our aspirations, she's very career/money driven and would get upset at me not giving a fuck about advancement s'long as I make adequate monies. Ironically her career went backwards, and I lazily stumbled up the food chain in an office space manner but that tension killed us.


She could never understand that I never cared about money so long as I have enough to get by, my happiness and life will always lie far away from "making it" in terms of career and she defined herself by it.

Some people don't have the responsibility or time to raise a child, which are great reasons not to have one. But many people make good parents and can give their kids opportunity to experience a happy life.

Had my now-wife wanted kids, I knew it would be a dealbreaker. Honestly, if you do get to the point where you meet a woman like that (and she was for me-completely), you recognize-actually quite quickly- that you have to be open and direct about your lack of desire to ever have kids, even if it means losing her because of it. There's no middle ground there if you feel strongly about it.

Thankfully my wife hated the idea of having children almost as much as I do. I don't agree with the OP's reason though in that thread though, seems weird.

I havent watched or played Inazuma but from the way it's been described to me it's pretty much Captain Tsubasa. Blitzball = Cpt Tsubasa lifted directly (Nekketsu Soccer I + II would be an arcade version of this concept)

Fair enough. I guess it all comes down to how strongly you feel about it. I mean, I think we've had this discussion before and I remember what lengths you've went through to stress your stance. And that's partially what I'm driving at: a lot of people just don't share that type of commitment to such a sentiment. One that may stem from nothing but stubbornness, and is neither thoroughly explored or verified. So it takes a world-rocking kind of personality to jolt them and clean their earwax when their guard is down. You know, give them a new perspective.
