The worst part is they don't even warn you. All the TB around me take a month to update their signs and menus, so you can still go to the two nearest me and the menus have pics of the double chalupa box instead of quesarito box. But they say they no longer have the double chalupa. 

This is the same shit when they stopped with the BAWS nachos, yet still have all the ingredients for 8 other things yet won't let you order it anymore.

I just wanted to see how bad a regular taco was and saw in the drop menu that you can make a Fiery Doritos Taco Double DECKER style....  This lead to the realization that my cheat day this saturday is gonna be amazing!

So I went to the new Taco Bell in Dotonboribashi in Osaka. I had a cruncharito or some shit: a crispy-flat-corn tortilla tostada wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was OK, but not worth Ą650 as a single item. A package of 5 tacos is Ą1350; I'll probably grab that next time. I also had "Cinnamon Crispas" but they were chip-like and stale, and you have to choose a sauce: caramel or chocolate. They were lame.

Taco Bell here serves beer, so I had one of those, but it arrived ⅓ head, so I won't be doing that again.

Next time, the 5-pack and maybe nothing else.

Anyway, still happy to experience The Bore Lifestyle even here in Japan.

Side note: your post made me realize that Japan Taco Bell doesn't have packets of sauce. They ask you at check out what level you want, and apply it in the kitchen.
