Killzone & Never Alone are cool.  Would have never bought Killzone but heard it's pretty good and the best in the franchise.  Never Alone I've been waiting for a $7.50 or less sale on Steam, so this saves me $7.50.

I don't know if it's worth looking for my pstv for killzone.  and yeah, also finding stuff to delete for those 4 gigs.  does vita need double that to install like the ps3?

No, as long as you have like 50MB more than the requirement, you'll be fine.

Killzone Mercenary is great and actually worth playing, unlike the other games.  If you have a PSTV, it is fully-compatible with the Dual Shock 3/4 and will map actions to the extra triggers and sticks (click for running, etc.).  Playing it that way pretty much gives you a full PS3 game at 720P/1080i.

So... I own a ps4 now.

Are the monthly games different between japan and USA PSN offerings?

Wow. Didn't know that. The backtouch "tap to sprint" is horrible in all FPS on the system.

Yes, there are differences. Maybe half of the games are the same and sometimes they are shifted a month in either direction.

Guacamelee is amazing and don't regret paying full price for it, but that leaves the rest of the month kind of questionable with Hohokum (any good?) and Ether One (any good?) and Murasaki Baby (any good?).

Which was still surprising after the 3 games had been pulled off the shelves and gone up in insane value as rare collectors items.

But then I remembered the director saved up money and bought the series from Irem and saw the re-release of the PS2 original game is under his new company, which is rad as the games will continue to be maintained.  Even better it reminded me that his new company is picking up where they left off on Disaster Report 4 on PS3 and will be releasing it on PS4 sometime this year or next year.

Super Meat Boy was awesome back in 2010, but I don't think I have the patience to play through it again.

Yeah I backed it but still haven't played much because I hear it's mediocre like every.single.doublefine.game.  That studio has some great artists and talent, but the game designers/directors seem pretty mediocre across the board.  They really need to hire some fresh blood with a talented pedigree in game design.

It finished; there was even a review of the Android release where the author was indignant that the game came out so long after the iOS release, and was just livid that they'd probably have to wait forever for part 2 to come out... and then posted a tiny update at the end of the article stating that the Android version contained parts 1 and 2.

IT'S ALL ABOUT RESPONSIBILITY IN GAMES JOURNALISM.

Japan PS+ is nice this week:

PS3:
Dengeki Fighting Climax - I love getting 2d fighting games for free the same week they come out full price in the US ;)  This happened like 2 months ago with Arcana Heart Max as well.  I love that I never have to buy fighting games anymore because they keep showing up on PS+ (even the ArcSys stuff like GGXrd and BlazBlu already showed up for free)
Guided Fate Paradox (aka Zettai Hero Project 3)
X-Blaze - Visual novel prequel to Blazblue.

Vita:
Meikyuu Cross Blade Infinity - Some dungeon crawler

Yeah nothing really on PS4, but JP PS+ is basically $50 a year for all the 2d fighters and jrpgs a year late.  Pretty solid deal.
