Benghazi - Nobody's yet to me explained the huge scandal. If you could lay it out, that would be amazing.
NSA taps - Not "okay" with it, but there's a cross-party consensus that supports the surveillance state. Switching Obama for any other credibly elected leader isn't going to mean a 180 on US civil liberties policy. See like a billion of my previous posts in this thread.
Going after freedom of the press - lolwut
Obamacare - My father had cancer a few years ago, then lost his job a year or so afterwards. Getting a new job meant getting new insurance, and the only reason he'll ever get an insurance company to pay for any future cancer treatment without them saying "pre-existing condition, too bad lolz!" is because of the federal government (which mandates coverage of pre-existing conditions if someone's had continuity of coverage, which administers [fucking expensive] COBRA so people can maintain that continuity when they lose their job, and finally through Medicare, which will cover him once he's old enough).
The vast, vast majority of self-identifying liberals, myself included, have been critical of the healthcare.gov rollout, and for that matter saw the ACA itself as a jerry-rigged compromise. But we also think health insurance is one area where markets tend to fuck up, often leaving those who are hit the hardest by injury and illness without the financial means to cope with it. I don't think there's any "fairness" in people going bankrupt because they contracted a disease, and the only practical way to avoid that is through social insurance. Which is what employer-sponsored group plans are a small version of, anyways.
