Am still not going to shit all over WWE because it's clear that Vince is still very much involved with everything and the transition to Heyman and Bischoff running more of it hasn't happened yet.
But if after the SD move and XFL launch, these shows still suck this badly, I don't know much longer I can take this shit.
For realz this time.
As soon as the brackets were announced, I said Corbin was going to win
And honestly... since he's come back from Extreme Rules, he's put on some pretty good matches. I also hate him as a heel and don't have a visceral "xpac heat" reaction where I just want him to go away. I think part of it is that he's wrestling in a tank top instead of a fucking Chili's waiter's outfit.
Anyway, I'm good with it, whatever. At least that match sort of makes sense from a narrative standpoint, unlike the Roman vs Rowan match that no one wants other than a senile 74 year old Republican that increasingly treats his promotion like his own personal action figure collection.

I've seen it said elsewhere that Corbin's current ring wear looks like he is in gimmick transition so him going from tank man to King Baron Von Corbin would make sense. Gable's looked really good and I'd be psyched on him winning but the King rub usually goes to heels and thus congrats to Mr. Applebee's.
I mean, the tank top is kinda better than restaurant staff. His dressing like he's still the GM-elect/constable/whatever and acting all smug like he runs the place -especially with that entrance music- makes no fucking sense.
But ratings tanked with Corbin all over the show. I'm not saying to shelf the guy, but holy shit at going this route with him at the same time.
