It’s just a ploy by Big Carepost to normalize Pogi‘s careposting.

This brings up an important topic. Society depends upon careposts, because humans are inherently social creatures that need to be able to show solidarity with each other when it comes to important social issues. When people are having problems, sometimes humor and jokes can help treat symptoms, but it takes a good carepost to actually come up with solutions. In my time on the internet, I've seen many a campaign against careposts, and while all seem to be well-intentioned efforts to make a board more lighthearted and fun, the cost of doing so is too great as it can make those who experience troubles in life not get the help they need, because people are too afraid to come forward with a helpful carepost. I understand why people are opposed to careposts because if you look at a board like RE where video games is the topic, you can see what happens when careposts become dominant. All fun is sucked out of the site and it becomes a chore to read. But if you find the right balance of careposts to posts of levity, you get a lighthearted and fun board that attracts people, then they get a small dose of careposts that may just be the help that person was looking for. So to summarize, while attacking careposts may seem like the vogue thing to do, I think it's important to not overdo it lest we fail to better society with helpful careposts. I also think it's important to note that there is no Big Carepost, and even if they did exist, they wouldn't be sponsoring or encouraging any member of this board.
