Oh hey super short notice but actually able to go this year. Gonna meet up with shosta and anyone else who can make it Sep 5-9. Baby sis will be coming again too, our first day there is actually her birthday (and we fly back a week before mine.) So less of a full Bore-con and more of a birthday party which also includes a hot dog bar.

Taco Bell Cantina will be among our first stops. And we actually sprung for JetBlue nonstop this time (fuck Delta and layovers.)

Will post pics here. Was iffy if I could return all year and had to delay our trip a month from the original intention (early August like last year.) But everything's finally locked in, and I actually have a gambling budget this time.

Go to the Mandalay Bay Shops connected to the Luxor and hit up Burger Bar, it's my favorite place in Vegas, especially with the munchies.  The fries are out of this world and great beer selection.  The Rossini burger is about $80 but I would rank it among any of the best steaks I've had.  Kobe beef + truffles + foie gras =

I don't mind Excalibur - but my standards are pretty low.  As long as the room is clean and has a decent bathroom/shower, I don't really care.  I will usually stay at a Hilton property now, but I used to lowroll it back in the day, including several stays at the Imperial Palace.

Excalibur at least has a good location.  It can still be hot as hell that time of year so it's nice to be connected indoors to two other casinos, and it's a quick walk outside over pedestrian bridges. to get to NYNY and MGM.

You may want to take a last trip over to Hooters for late night 25 cent wings (and working ladies, if that's your thing).  They got bought out by an Indian (dots, not feathers) developer so it'll probably be nuked soon.

I think you have to go in after midnight, at least that's how it was when I stayed there a few years ago.  They had a pretty decent arcade there too (named JoyStixxx - ugh) but I'm not sure if that's there anymore.

It's closed now   Possibly due to the new Esports Arena in Luxor taking the clientele, but that place is pretty different

Another good spot for after midnight food is the California on Fremont. They have an awesome oxtail soup they only serve from like midnight-8am but it's always pretty packed with chinese grandmas trying to get in for that

Eh, Glitter Gulch is no huge loss.  Notorious tourist trap where they would try and charge people $100 for just talking to a girl at the bar.
