This game will come close to reaching Dragon's Dogma 2 as GOTY (and that's saying A LOT coming from me). Mario Odyssey brought nothing new in innovation. It was a glorified Mario 64... which isn't a bad thing, it's just that Asobi is bursting at the seams with new ways of interaction (thanks to the DualSense), while still embracing the classic 3D platforming charm of said Mario 64 (and then some). This looks like, and is generating, the same feels of SEGA in the 90's caliber of bright, fast, ballistic, creative gaming that doesn't let up and surprises every second. Asobi; as small as they are, should be Sony's Trojan horse dev... No question.
