I also want to reiterate how fucking insane a false equivalence it is to compare the sale of an explicitly political statement (a pride flag) with licenced merchandise of an entertainment product
so was the letter with the bomb threats from the trans lobby that made the rounds yesterday fake or what? that seems to render the whole comparison meaningless anyway because it implied that trans people were like "here's a list of targets we've planted a bomb in"
RE claims it's fake but obviously hard to prove for certain. Though if you entertain the idea that bomb threats can be false flags to make the other side look bad, how can you then be absolutely certain that it was some right wing nut who wrote the first bomb threats?
