State of the forum, where we go from here, and a short experiment.

Look, we all know that a big chunk of the forum has been pretty crap for a while now and we all know a big part of the reason for that. So, with that I'm mind, I'm doing some things that will be in effect for the next 3 months.

1. Several posters will be banned. [if you have someone specific in mind and are wondering if they're included, the answer is "yes"]

2. Off-topic is done. Nobody cares about NeoGAF and Reset anymore. If you see something interesting on reddit, post it in the meme thread. Otherwise, just chuckle to yourself and move on.  We will try the other forums thread in the members-only sub-forum.  Don't fuck it up!  http://www.thebore.com/forum/index.php?topic=48300.0

3. Maybe a few other minor things here and there.

This will be in effect for 3 months. If at the end of the 3 months everyone hates this and wants things to go back to how they were, I'll undo everything and leave the board for good.

But we're well past the point where it makes sense to have a dedicated thread for every stupid or hypocritical thing some rando on another forum says.
