Tasty, where’s the deets?
Our flight got in late and also we were too busy having fun sorrryyyyy 😩
We set out
Sept 1st and left our dogs behind (regrettably). We had many conversations this trip about bringing them next year. Probably not, but...
Sept 2nd we hit the pool before going to Particle Ink, Bebpo's rec! It was wicked cool and combined choreography, holograms, and a loose story thread contextualizing it all. Sis and I loved this show and got t-shirts afterwards. Great idea bebps! Afterwards, we stumbled into an arts fair that only happens once a month, what serendipity.
Saturday
Sept 3rd we went to one of our yearly spots, The Stratosphere. A pretty unique experience as there was a massive thunderstorm shooting down lightning bolts not that far away.
Sept 4th was Thirst Day looool. Spent Noon-6pm at the premiere gay pool party Temptation Sundays, then at 9pm we had tix to Thunder From Down Under.
Fun show. Lotta grandmas in the audience. A+ experience.
Early on
Sept 5th we used the hotel spa and it was extremely relaxing and rejuvenating after frying my skin off the previous day in the pool. Later, we followed up with another favorite: Gordon Ramsay Steak. Once again, excellent. Afterwards we took an Uber to AREA15, which was Akala's rec! We were both incredibly impressed, and even checked ziplining off our Vegas bucket lists.
We spent 6.5 hours the afternoon and evening of
Sept 6th walking the entire strip from Luxor to Stratosphere. Was a lot of fun poking in and out of places and finding hidden gems. Favorite one: The Cabinet in Bally's, combination curio museum and bar.
Finally, on
Sept 7th we packed our things and flew back east, physically burnt but spiritually fulfilled. 😊
I also hit Kuma bathhouse and it was fun.
Those deets are staying in Vegas.
